Success in court - no patent infringement
Success in court - no patent infringement
According to an interim decision by the Patent and Market Court, Ambiductor's competitor has not managed to show probable reasons for Ambiductor's popular water meters Qalcosonic W1 infringing patents. Qalcosonic W1 will therefore continue to be sold in Sweden.
- Ambiductor regrets that the situation has arisen and for the uncertainty that arose during the process. All meters are now available for fast delivery. The software has been updated, says Rosemary Urgård, IoT-responsible Ambiductor.
The background is that an industry colleague sued ambiductor for alleged patent infringement with an attempt to prevent our sales in Sweden.
The court case only touches the meter Qalcosonic W1 in the sizes DN15 and DN20.
